Coaching for high-achieving women navigating a life that's shifting

Dr. Jite — Life Coach & Educator

The roles your life was centered around are gone. Now what?

You lived inside a role. Then life changed — divorce, an empty nest, retirement, a career shift. You handled what had to be handled. But you do not want to spend the next years trying to recreate your old normal. And the transition exposed a pattern you are starting to notice.

  • Rehearsing a no for days before you say it, then apologizing for it anyway.
  • Calling everyone else before making your own decision.
  • Feeling valuable only when you're useful to someone.
  • Cancelling plans you wanted for yourself, then wondering why.

Coaching for Midlife Transitions

Life changes first. The role moves — through divorce, an empty nest, retirement, a career shift — and what was underneath it becomes visible.

The transition exposes a pattern: the Automatic Yes, the deciding around everyone else, the usefulness that stood in for worth.

Everything I offer exists to help you interrupt that pattern, at whatever level of support fits where you are. I've spent over a decade researching how equity gets created in education, and I bring that same rigor here. I've coached women across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Nigeria. I know this pattern because I've lived inside it myself.

My mom loved me in the way she knew how. But somewhere along the way, I learned that love had to be earned. That I had to be more, do more, achieve more to be worthy of being liked — and not just loved, but actually liked.

So I went after degrees, took on debt, said yes before I finished deciding — trying to become enough. Then I realized I was running out of time to live my own life.

That's when I noticed the Automatic Yes.

"My body answered before my mind had a chance to decide — chest tight, hand already up, smiling through rooms I should have left."

The pattern showed up in my friendships, my roles, every decision I made around everyone else first. It lives in the body, before the mind. That's where I learned to interrupt it, and that's where I meet you.

Dr. Jite has spent over a decade conducting research in STEM education — specifically on how culturally relevant pedagogical strategies create equitable learning environments for Black and Brown students who have been historically excluded from these fields, and how representation in STEM gets created deliberately. She brings that same rigor to her coaching work.

She works with clients across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Nigeria. She speaks several languages, is an avid reader, and runs marathons across different continents as her own practice in what it looks like to move through the world for herself.
